As a mother of six kids, Kristen knows firsthand how rising prices are affecting Michigan families. That’s why she is laser-focused on providing relief and lowering costs. In the State Senate, she passed the largest  tax cut for working families in Michigan’s history and ended Michigan’s burdensome retirement tax.

In Congress, Kristen led the effort to pass through the House a tax cut for families buying healthcare. She is working to force prescription drug companies to negotiate prices with Medicaid, put an end to reckless tariffs, and stop Wall Street from buying up our housing. She is also a leader of a bipartisan group of members focused on cutting red tape that is causing sky-high costs of utilities and housing.
