The current state of healthcare in America is crushing working families. MAGA’s $1 trillion cut to Medicaid made things much worse, causing premiums to rise 17% for working families in Michigan. For Mid-Michigan to thrive, healthcare must be affordable and accessible for everybody. 

Kristen led the effort to pass through the House a tax cut for families buying healthcare, and she is fighting to let every American have the choice to buy into Medicare. She wrote bipartisan legislation to make pricing more transparent, and she is standing up to pharmaceutical companies by working to force them to negotiate prices with Medicaid.
