Our immigration system is broken, and it has been for decades. We see the consequences of that today at our southern border. Too many politicians, from both parties, have used the issue of immigration as a political football in Washington – all finger-pointing and no action. Everyday people I talk to in mid-Michigan are tired of it.

In Congress, I will work with both parties to secure a tough, bipartisan, and comprehensive immigration reform package. I will fight for robust enforcement at the southern border, cracking down on drug and sex traffickers, fixing the legal immigration processes, and an earned pathway to citizenship for those here who want to work hard, pay taxes, and follow our laws.
